We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to lead automation testing for a high-impact industrial software solution developed for the Volkswagen Group. You will join a skilled SABO team in Prague and take ownership of QA processes across multiple integrated backend systems. Cypress is the main tool, and you will define the test strategy and support one junior QA colleague in the future.
What You’ll Work On:
Design and maintain end-to-end automation tests in Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript)
Define QA strategy and lead the testing effort across backend services
Collaborate with developers and product owners to maintain quality standards
Use JIRA and Zephyr to manage test cases and bug tracking
Support CI/CD integration and API testing (Postman, JMeter, Rest Assured)
What We Expect from You:
6+ years of QA experience, including automation and strategy
Strong Cypress skills (JavaScript/TypeScript)
Good command of QA collaboration tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence)
Experience with test design, bug reporting, and data validation
English B2+ and fluent Czech (German is a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred
